Read an E-Book Week

ReadAnEBookWeek

Read an E-Book Week is coming up March 7 – 13, 2010. Many publishers and authors give away free e-books during that week. If you’re an avid e-book reader already, you can stock up on great reading material. If you haven’t ventured into e-books yet, it’s a great opportunity to try out reading electronically with free books in your favorite genre. You can find a list of participating authors and publishers on the Read an E-Book Partners page.

I’ll be giving away e-copies of Spring House and Adam’s Daughters. Be sure to visit here during Read an E-Book Week to get your free copies as well as check out all the great books from other authors.

Hope to see you at The Twig on Thursday, February 18th, at 5 PM or at Barnes & Noble La Cantera on Saturday, February 20th, at 1 PM.

Words That Make It All Worthwhile

kudos

I recently received an e-mail from a reader in South Africa that delighted me.

Dave Mitchell of Cape Town, South Africa, wrote:

Just back in from a glorious weekend spent unwinding (camping) at the  Algeria Forest Station in the Cederberg mountains, 3 hours from Cape Town. Spent a good slug of this time lying on the grass next to a babbling  brook,  reading and enjoying Adam’s Daughters. An excellent read – it really has been a blissful weekend! My congrats to the author.

That e-mail made my day. I could picture in mind the babbling brook and the surrounding mountains—and a happy reader enjoying my book.

Dave also wrote a 5-star review at Amazon.com. There’s nothing that can put a bigger smile on this author’s face than knowing my book brought pleasure to a reader.
