Heart-Warming Christmas Story
December 20, 2009
Lulubelle and I have been busy getting ready for Christmas. We still send out Christmas cards by mail, a dying tradition.
We also took a break recently to watch A Dog Named Christmas, a heart-warming Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation based on the best-selling novel by Greg Kincaid. Lulubelle loves the story because the dog named Christmas is a friendly yellow lab like Lulubelle. I love the movie because it’s a wholesome, feel-good story for the whole family that reminds us of the meaning of Christmas.
Lulubelle and I watched the show on television, but it’s also available on DVD so you and your whole family can enjoy it anytime. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, you need to see it.
Merry Christmas from Lulubelle and me.
Starting Book 3
December 8, 2009
I’m down here in sunny south Texas, but it sure hasn’t felt like it for the past few days. It’s cold!
The good news: the cold weather gives me a great opportunity to warm up the keyboard and get to work on the next book in the Westward Sagas.
Have you read the first books in the series? If not, drop a hint in Santa’s ear.
Do you have folks on your Christmas list who like history or enjoy reading? If so, stay warm and avoid the crowds at the mall, and order Spring House and Adam’s Daughters. The book will be personally autographed to the recipient to make it extra special.
