Family Reunion and Worship

Last Sunday 40+ descendants of Adam Mitchell attended worship services at Salem Presbyterian Church in Limestone, TN.
In this photo, my family and I are standing in front of the Mitchell famly window of the church built in 1780. Salem Presbyterian Church was the place of worship of our early ancestors in Washington County, TN more than 200 years ago.
After services, the ladies of the church served a wonderful meal, then we toured the adjoining cemetery to view our ancestors’ tombstones.
Worshipping where Adam and Elizabeth Mitchell and their children worshipped was a wonderful experience.
