Get a free, autographed copy of Spring House!

Updated 9/12/07: Thanks to everyone who responded with great reviews. I’m no longer actively seeking reviews as there are now a lot of reviews at Amazon.com.

I’ve received excellent reviews on my historical novel, Spring House: Book 1 in the Western Sagas, but I’m looking for more reviews at Amazon.com.

I’m especially interested in feedback from readers who aren’t professional reviewers – readers who like to share their reading experience with others. To encourage reviews, I’m offering the gift of a free autographed paperback copy of the book to anyone who writes a review at Amazon.

It isn’t necessary that you give me a five-star rating, though I really love to see those stars! I sincerely hope readers enjoy my book, and I want honest feedback to help me become a better writer. As you know if you’ve been reading this blog, I’m working on Book Two in the Westward Sagas now, and I’ll use all the feedback I get on Spring House in writing Adam’s Daughters and future books.

To get your free book, simply post an honest review at Amazon.com, then complete the contact form on the Free Book page to request your gift copy. You can specify how you want the book to be autographed, personalized for yourself or inscribed for a friend or loved one.

Should a reader not like the book, I’m sure he wouldn’t want a second copy. However, other reviews have been complimentary, and I hope everyone who reads my book enjoys it. And if you see fit to write a rave review that touches my heart and makes my beloved yellow Lab, Lulubelle, wag her tail, I’ll also send you a copy of the next book in the series, Adam’s Daughters, as soon as it is available.”

I absolutely loved this book!! My father in law who recently passed away gave me his copy and I fell in love with it also. It was so good he read the book twice, something he normally doesn’t do. I was so into the story that I also read it to my son as part of his history lesson for homeschooling. My son has Aspergers, a form of autism and has reading difficulties but he said you are such a great author he will keep practicing his reading so he can read your books some day by himself. It made us feel like we were living the part of the characters and it really was a learning experience for the whole family. We can’t wait for the next book. Drake, our chocolate lab service dog, says HI to LuLuBelle and to give her a big hug from him. (Message from my son) Thanks again for your great writing

I was not expecting the unexpected joy and anticipation that your book gave me. I truely felt such a connection that I felt as if I was a character of your book. It is rare indeed, to a reader to be made to feel as if they are right there in print. Such an awesome experience and cannot give you enough praise for your hardwork and dedication you evidently poured into this great read. I am looking forward to reading your next book, Adam’s Daughter. I am literally sitting on the edge of my seat to feel this feeling again, which I am sure I will. Give LuLuBelle a belly rub from me for I am sure sticking by your side while you are writing. Labs are such loyal and loving creatures. Bless you for your wonderful gift.

I have to say I have read many books in the past about life in the old days but for some reason I was so drawn to this particular book almost as though I couldnt put it down. It makes me appreciate my foreparents much more then I did at one time…

Well i must say I have read many books in the past about life in the old days but for some reason i was so drawn to this particular book almost as though i couldnt put it down. And there were times I didn’t – I even cooked and bathed my children while reading. It touched me just to read about hardships that my ancestors endured at that time. This book truly grasps those days in time like no other I have read before I’m excited about the next book in the series - can’t wait to get my hands and eyes on that one too.

I really enjoyed this book. It appears to have a great deal of historical accuracy. It makes me appreciate the hardiness of my foreparents. I can’t wait for more books by this author.
