Lillie Ammann at A Writer’s Words, An Editor’s Eye tagged me for a meme.
The instructions for the meme from Lillie’s post are:
To participate, write a post about balance in life and link back to Life Balance Meme. Answer any or all of the following questions or simply share your thoughts about life balance.
How do you achieve balance in your life?
What is your biggest challenge in balancing your life?
What are your priorities?
How have your priorities changed over time and why?
What advice can you share to help all of us balance our own lives?
I’ve chosen to answer the last question with the best advice I can give. I learned long ago that I can’t do everything, and it’s much better to find the right people – people I trust – to do what I can’t do, don’t like to do, or don’t do well. I have found it costs less to outsource than to spend my time inefficiently.
I have an excellent attorney and an outstanding accountant that I’ve used for years. And Lillie not only edits my books, but she also maintains my Web site and helps me with book promotion.
By focusing on doing what I do best, I am able to accomplish more in writing, speaking, and genealogy as well as business.
I’m tagging:
Jasia at Creative Gene
Zoe the Footnote Maven
Miriam at AnceStories
Becky at kinexxions
Nikki-ann at Nikki-ann
… and anybody else who wants to jump in.

Thanks for tagging me. Somebody else tagged me on the same day too. It’s something I’m going to have to think about it, but it will be the subject of a future post
I hope you’re enjoying the weekend. Take care.

Looking forward to your post, Becky.

You two and Jasia are fast! I got sidetracked before I commented on your blogs to tag you … and you’ve already responded. I’m looking forward to reading your posts.

Hmm, like Miriam and Zoe, I’ll have to think on this a bit. Right now I’d say my life is off kilter, if not totally out of balance…

David:
Thanks for the tip of the “ten gallon.” As someone who has always considered herself a little off-balanced, it will be a real challenge to see if I can find any balance in my life to discuss.
Miriam
Hi, David: Boy, this meme will be a challenge! Sounds like fun, though. I’ll have to do some thinking on this. Thanks for tagging me!
